1. OVERVIEW
This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs all subscription cancellations and refund requests for the TrendArcher platform. This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read together with it. By subscribing to TrendArcher, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this Policy. We have designed this Policy to be clear, fair, and straightforward. If you have a question about your subscription, billing, or a refund request, please contact us at before initiating a chargeback or dispute through your payment provider — we resolve the vast majority of issues quickly and directly.
2. SUBSCRIPTION MODEL
2.1 Recurring Monthly Subscription. TrendArcher operates on a monthly recurring subscription basis. Your subscription begins on the date of your first successful payment and renews automatically on the same calendar date each month (the "Renewal Date"), unless you cancel before that date. 2.2 Continuous Access. Upon each successful payment, you are granted full access to the features included in your subscription plan for the entire billing period, regardless of how frequently you use the Platform. 2.3 Automatic Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically on each Renewal Date without further action from you. You will receive a renewal reminder email at least 3 days before your Renewal Date. It is your responsibility to cancel before the Renewal Date if you do not wish to be charged for the next billing period. The Company is not responsible for charges resulting from your failure to cancel in advance of a renewal. 2.4 Plan Changes. You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time from within your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately; the difference in price for the remainder of the current billing period will be charged on a pro-rata basis. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.
3. HOW TO CANCEL
3.1 Self-Service Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time by: Using the subscription management option in your account, or the manage-subscription link in your payment receipt, or Emailing us at with your account email address and a request to cancel Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You will retain full access to all features of your subscription plan until that date. After that date, your account will revert to a free or limited access tier (if available) or be deactivated. 3.2 Cancellation Does Not Equal a Refund. Cancelling your subscription stops future charges. It does not automatically trigger a refund of the current or any prior billing period. To request a refund, you must follow the process in Section 5. 3.3 Confirmation. We will send you a confirmation email upon successful cancellation, stating the date on which your paid access will end. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours of your cancellation request, please contact us at to verify. 3.4 EU Consumer Withdrawal Button. EU Directive 2023/2673 requires online sellers to provide an easy-to-use withdrawal function for consumers. In line with this, EU and EEA consumers may exercise their right of withdrawal at any time during the applicable withdrawal period (described in Section 6.1) through their account settings or by contacting us at the email address below. Where your subscription is sold through our Merchant of Record, the withdrawal and refund function provided by the Merchant of Record may also be used.
4. GENERAL REFUND RULE
Subscription fees are non-refundable as a general rule.
TrendArcher is a digital subscription service that provides immediate access to the Platform's full features upon payment. Because the service is delivered digitally and made available to you in full from the moment of payment, we do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused portions of a billing period following cancellation. This is consistent with industry practice among comparable platforms. If you cancel the service before your current paid-up period ends, your subscription will remain active until the next due date. The same principle applies at TrendArcher: you keep access through the period you have paid for, and no refund is issued for the remaining time.
5. REFUND EXCEPTIONS
We will issue a full refund in the following specific circumstances. All refund requests must be submitted to within the timeframes stated below. 5.1 New Subscriber — 7-Day Satisfaction Window. If you are a first-time subscriber and you are not satisfied with the Platform, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your first payment, provided that: You have not run more than 10 Simulations during that period, and You submit your refund request to within the 7-day window, stating your account email and the reason for your request This window applies to your first subscription only. It does not apply to subsequent subscriptions, plan upgrades, or re-subscriptions after a previous cancellation. 5.2 Duplicate or Erroneous Charge. If you are charged more than once in the same billing cycle due to a technical error, or if you are charged an incorrect amount that does not match your subscription plan, you are entitled to a full refund of the duplicate or excess charge. Please contact us at with your billing receipt and account details within 30 days of the erroneous charge. 5.3 Charge After Confirmed Cancellation. If you are charged after you have successfully cancelled your subscription and received a cancellation confirmation from us, you are entitled to a full refund of that charge. Please contact us within 30 days of the charge, referencing your cancellation confirmation. 5.4 Platform Unavailability. If the Platform is unavailable (due to causes within our control) for a continuous period exceeding 72 hours within a single billing period, you may request a pro-rata credit or partial refund proportionate to the period of unavailability. This exception does not apply to outages caused by third-party data providers, scheduled maintenance communicated in advance, or force majeure events. 5.5 EU / EEA Statutory Right of Withdrawal. Consumers can cancel the contract within 14 days without providing any justification (the "cooling-off period"). For services, the cooling-off period is 14 days after the day the contract was agreed. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of your first subscription payment. However, by proceeding with your subscription and accessing the Platform, you expressly request that we begin providing the service immediately and acknowledge that: If you have not used the Platform at all during the 14-day withdrawal period, you are entitled to a full refund upon exercising your right of withdrawal within that period. If you have used the Platform (including running any Simulation) during the 14-day withdrawal period, any fees paid should be proportionate to the extent to which you used the service. We will calculate a proportionate refund based on the number of days elapsed and usage made. If the service has been fully delivered within the 14-day period (i.e., your billing period has concluded), the right of withdrawal is waived in its entirety. To exercise your EU/EEA withdrawal right, you may use the "Withdraw from Contract" function in your account settings (see Section 3.4) or contact us at with the subject line "Withdrawal — EU Consumer Right." We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process any applicable refund within 14 calendar days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method as the original charge. 5.6 UK Statutory Right of Withdrawal. If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, equivalent rights apply under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The same conditions described in Section 5.5 apply, adapted for UK law. Refund processing timelines and methods are the same as for EU consumers. 5.7 Exceptional Discretionary Refunds. Apart from the exceptions above, refunds are not guaranteed. However, we recognize that unusual circumstances arise. If you believe your situation warrants an exception, please contact us at and explain your circumstances. We will consider requests on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Contacting us is always preferable to initiating a chargeback, which carries additional costs and may result in account suspension.
6. REFUND PROCESS
6.1 How to Request a Refund. Submit your refund request by email to . We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and provide a decision within 7 business days of receiving all necessary information. 6.3 Refund Method. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method. We do not issue refunds by bank transfer, cryptocurrency, or any method other than the original payment instrument, except where required by law or where the original payment method is no longer available. 6.4 Refund Processing Time. Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days. The time for the credit to appear in your account depends on your payment provider or card issuer and is outside our control. If you have not seen the refund after 10 business days, please contact your payment provider before contacting us.
7. FREE TRIALS
7.1 Trial Terms. Where the Company offers a free or discounted trial period, the trial terms (duration, features included, and what happens at the end of the trial) will be stated clearly at the time of sign-up. 7.2 Trial-to-Paid Conversion. Unless you cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial and your payment method will be charged. We will send you a reminder email at least 3 days before your trial ends. 7.3 Trial Cancellation. You may cancel your trial at any time from Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Trial. Cancellation during the trial period stops conversion to a paid plan and incurs no charge. 7.4 Trial Refunds. If you are charged because you forgot to cancel before your trial was converted to a paid subscription, please contact us within 48 hours of the charge. We will review such requests on a case-by-case basis. We cannot guarantee a refund in these circumstances but will consider first-time occurrences sympathetically.
8. CHARGEBACKS
8.1 Contact Us First. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us at before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer or bank. We resolve the vast majority of billing issues quickly and without the need for a formal dispute process. 8.2 Consequences of Chargebacks. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in: Immediate suspension of your TrendArcher account pending investigation Permanent account termination if the chargeback is found to be unjustified Your account being flagged with our payment processor, which may affect your ability to subscribe in future 8.3 Fraudulent Chargebacks. Initiating a chargeback that you know to be fraudulent or unjustified constitutes a breach of our Terms of Service and may be reported to relevant authorities.
9. PRICE CHANGES AND THEIR EFFECT ON EXISTING SUBSCRIBERS
If we increase subscription pricing, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance by email and/or in-platform notice. The new price will apply from your next Renewal Date following the notice period. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel your subscription before that Renewal Date and will not be charged at the higher rate. Your continued use of the Platform after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
10. ACCOUNTS TERMINATED FOR POLICY VIOLATIONS
If your account is suspended or terminated by the Company due to a violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, no refund will be issued for any remaining portion of your current billing period. This includes but is not limited to: account sharing, reverse engineering, automated scraping, misrepresentation of Simulation results, and market abuse.
