What it does

Arweave is a decentralized permanent data storage network where users pay once to store data forever. Unlike subscription-based cloud storage, a single upfront AR payment guarantees data is stored perpetually. The 'permaweb' built on Arweave hosts applications and websites that can never be taken down or altered. AR tokens are used to pay for storage and to reward miners who store data.

How it works
